Headline: What have I acquired my singing gene?
Option 1: Mum
Possibility: 30%
Occassionally, she does go for karaoke session with her colleagues.
And, she sings fairly well.
But what about the remaining 70%?
Option 2: Dad
Possibility: 0%
Having sung the song 'Top of the World', my uncle's newly bought karaoke system has graded him with a song of 9 / 100 for his 'fantastic' singing.
*Jaw drops, laughters roared across the room*
It's a far cry from the score of 86 I've scored.
And, yes, it's a karaoke system that grades your singing.
How cool?
Option 3: Fellow paternal uncles and auntie
Possibility: 20%
With an average score of 78, my uncles and auntie have prove they are quite a worthy bunch of singers.
Unlike their brother, my dad.
Option 4: Radio, television drama series
Possibility: 50%
Being a television addict from young, I've watched hundreds of drama series.
According to my auntie, I know every song for every drama.
Hmm?
And I would stubbornly continue to sing my favourite song, 潇洒走一回 by Sally Ye, not knowing the lyrics.
And, with the radio on throughout my sleep, music is all around me.
So I guess that's where most my singing gene came from!
