hey! guess what ? the holidays are here! [whee!] but not a break for us students unfortunately... it's for us to brush up our studies! yup... went for this 'mei ti ying' is a media workshop held by SPH [Singapore Press Holdings...] starts at 9am and ended around 5.30pm... the first part of the workshop was fairly okies but still a bit boring... i was still reading my 7th smallville book when the speaker was talking... [Heee...] then was lunch! [yum!] was starving by that time and the auditorium was freezing cold as well... most of the AMKsian actually went off during the lunch break... but we 2/3 girl didn't okies! i guess partly coz we dun dare or we too obdient or we were waiting 'Zhou Hui Min' [the news broad-caster of channel U] to arrive ? well... i dun know... we also had a 'fake' reporter session where this man who claims that he's from 'Su Du Ji' [i'm not sure of the 'han yu ping ying'] came to tell us abut the details of a drug case which was broken a few days ago... well... i'm not sure if this case is real or the man is a real one... so we had to write out the new report on this drug case and hand it up after lunch break...
and so the second half of the workshop began... was fairly better than the first half at least i'm not reading my smallville book anymore... then the most awaited 'Zhou Hui Min' arrive! wah... oh my god... she's so skinny and pretty... wah... i'm not lying... i guess u have to see it to believe it... [haha...] then she told us about the details about her job... how they read their script so smoothly... blah blah blah... next... we went to visit the different work areas of the staff... it's a big... seriously speaking... then we went to the news centre! where the news is bring broadcast and the editing of the films... frankly speaking... the space of the broadcasting is not very big... kind of squeezy though with all the cameras around... yup... then the final item was the presentation of the various school's paparazzi... [for ur information... SJI, Bedok View Sec attended with us this workshop...] yup... we had our very own Cindy and Jocelyn to present... and we got a prize for the best performed group! [haha...] not a prize actually... it's just a whistle... [note... they had many whistles to be given out on that day...] then they announces the winners of the best news report written... i've got a prize as well! not the best... but i have the potential to write these new report so they gave me as a token of appreciation loh... [haha...] the prize was a Fish CD-rack... haha... fionne and huai sian from our class also got a prize... and bye bye... it was time to go home after a group photo...
sigh... was a long day yesterday... and today ? wanted to go to far east to see the class t-shirt design... but alison said that angelia went with her friend... so never go loh... have just finished the home econs online test as well... got 29/30! dun know which questions i got wrong also... can't see...
anway... my family is on a muffin craze recently... [except my father...] partly because my sister wants to eat muffin for breakfast and partly also because of my home econs practical as i'm making muffin so have to brush up on my muffin-making skill loh... okies... i'm off to watch television... signing off...
